Ernie

Ernie is one of two chuck wagon horses that arrived from Alberta in 2022. He can be a bit stand offish with people he doesn’t know, but he’s easier to halter and lead, and increasingly social as time goes on. He was integrated into a herd after the buddy he arrived with was adopted. Socializing with other horses has helped him settle and calm. We believe him to be about 10 years old. He is very sweet once he knows you. We have not done a lot of work with Ernie, but it’s likely that he has been broke to ride at some point - the horse he arrived with was. We’re looking forward to learning how he is under saddle when he has settled enough to begin working with. UTD on all.
