Josie

Introducing Josie, a brave and resilient little mare with a touching tale of survival and hope. In the early Spring of 2022, she arrived at our ranch with a foal at her side and another little one in tow from the Meat Buyer in Alberta.

This young - we suspect she is around 6 yrs old- stands at around 12hh, making her a perfect size for tots and younger children. When she first arrived, Josie was wary of human attention and interaction. However, with patience and love, Josie has shown remarkable progress over the last 6 months. She has let her guard down and started build her confidence and trust in us humans.

She loves to be groomed, taken for walks, and is willingly picking up her feet. There are even indications that she might have previous riding or driving experience, adding to her versatility.

This charming little mare possesses a wild yet soft soul that yearns for the companionship of a gentle and patient person to continue her training. Josie's endearing charm will surely capture your heart. Her future is filled with promise. She needs someone who can provide love, understanding, and guidance
