Josie

Introducing Josie, a brave and resilient little mare with a touching tale of survival and hope. In the early Spring of 2022, she arrived at our ranch with a foal at her side and another little one in tow from the Meat Buyer in Alberta.

This young - we suspect she is around 6 yrs old- stands at around 12hh, making her a perfect size for tots and younger children. When she first arrived, Josie was wary of human attention and interaction. However, with patience and love, Josie has shown remarkable progress over the last 6 months . She has let her guard down and started build her confidence and trust in us humans and is such a sweet heart.

She loves to be groomed, taken for walks, loads like a champ and has been saddled and ridden lightly in the ring and on the trails. She is a fast learner and would make an amazing youth 4h prospect and even a cross country event pony with the right guidance. Her future is filled with promise!

This charming little mare possesses a wild yet soft soul that yearns for the companionship of a gentle and patient person to continue her training. Josie's endearing charm will surely capture your heart.
