Thompson

Thompson joined us as a yearling colt in 2017 along with 17 other Pemberton Herd boys but was soon adopted. He arrived back to SCCR in late fall of 2024 due to owner hardships. He has grown to be a handsome 15hh, sturdy Paint. Sensitive and very curious by nature , this boy loves attention. He is an in your back pocket type of gelding, eager to be lead and to please. He is good with all 4 feet and stands for the farrier. Currently learning his groundwork with ease in paddock. There seems to be a negative correlation to the round pen and training sticks that is currently being worked on. Despite needing to work on his confidence, he is respectful on the lead and overall a quick and eager learner. Thompson is ready for his next adventure with a partner that will start him with patience and confidence.
