Arby

Introducing Arby, this older gentleman (26yo) is a favourite of the Ranch. Arby, along with his BFF Flame, came to us in the Fall of 2021.We assume he had a fairly extensive harness racing career at some point in his life by the evidence of multiple Pin firing marks on his legs (Pin firing is an old veterinary treatment in which a hot metal tipped instrument (firing iron) is used to burn a pattern of small holes through the skin overlying an injury ). Arby is happy now to spend his semi-retirement days with leisurely strolls and helping kids learn about horses. But don’t let his age and quiet, sweet demeanor fool you! Arby still likes to roll and run and kick up his heels when let out to play.
