Ernie

Ernie is one of two chuck wagon horses that arrived at the Ranch in 2022.

Super sweet beautiful 15hh dark Bay Gelding ~Standardbred x . This boy has come a long way from being withdrawn and apprehensive of people to now being the first at the gate to come out for some work and play! Ernie has started a refresher undersaddle and has about 10 solid rides on him, in and outside of the Arena. He is doing great with his ground work and w/t online. This boy has no issues with Tarps, machinery, various obstacles, loads great and is middle of the pack in his mixed Herd of buddies.

In his early teens, Ernie would welcome an experienced rider (at this stage of training) to take him for hours of adventure trail riding and with his speed and agility he would be great at gymkana or barrel racing if given the chance to learn.
